Get Connected
With a wealth of writer’s workshops, literary festivals, writer’s organizations, visiting writers series, book clubs and readings at libraries and bookstores, North Carolina is a welcoming home for writers.
North Carolina Writers’ Network
Founded in 1985, the nonprofit North Carolina Writers' Network is the oldest and largest statewide literary service organization in the country. It offers courses in every creative writing genre; twice-yearly conferences that involve hundreds of writers in workshops, readings and lively discussions; several annual competitions that award cash prizes; a critiquing and editing service that gives developing or emerging writers the opportunity to receive feedback on their work; and business writing workshops. Join to take advantage of a variety of members-only services.
